finqtool is built on a simple principle: your trading data belongs to you, not us. Unlike most trading tools that collect, analyze, and monetize your data, finqtool takes a fundamentally different approach. We've designed our tool so that we physically cannot access your data - because it never leaves your device in the first place.
How We Handle Your Data
100% Local Storage - Your Data Never Leaves Your Device
Every piece of data you create in finqtool stays exclusively on your device. Your trading notes, watchlists, price alerts, favorites, and all settings are stored locally using your browser's or Mac's secure storage. We have no servers collecting your information, no cloud sync, and no way to access what you store. This isn't just a policy - it's how the app is architecturally designed. Your trading strategies, research notes, and portfolio insights remain completely private.
Zero Tracking - We Don't Watch What You Do
finqtool contains no tracking code whatsoever. We don't use cookies, pixels, fingerprinting, or any other tracking technology. We don't know which coins you're watching, what alerts you've set, or how often you use the app. Your browsing behavior and trading activity within finqtool are invisible to us and everyone else.
No Account Needed - Start Instantly, Stay Anonymous
There's no sign-up, no email verification, no password to remember. Just install finqtool and start using it immediately. Without accounts, there's no profile to hack, no credentials to leak, and no personal information tied to your usage. You remain completely anonymous while having full access to all features.
Market Data: The Only External Connection
Public Price Data from Exchanges
The only external connections finqtool makes are to fetch publicly available market data from these cryptocurrency exchanges:
- Binance - World's largest crypto exchange
- Bybit - Leading derivatives platform
- OKX - Global trading platform
- Hyperliquid - Decentralized perpetuals exchange
These requests fetch the same public price data that anyone can access. No personal information is sent with these requests - the exchanges have no way to identify you or link the data to your usage.
Encrypted Connections
All market data requests use HTTPS encryption. Even though we're only fetching public data, we ensure these connections are secure to protect against any potential interception or tampering.
Third-Party Services: None
No Analytics Services
finqtool does not integrate Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Facebook Pixel, or any other analytics or tracking service. We don't use third-party crash reporting, A/B testing tools, or user behavior tracking. The app contains zero third-party tracking code.
Your Data Is Never For Sale
We will never sell, share, rent, or monetize your data in any way. We don't display ads, we don't have affiliate tracking, and we don't partner with data brokers. finqtool is completely free because we believe privacy-respecting tools should be accessible to everyone - not because we're making money from your information.
Complete Control Over Your Data
Delete Everything Instantly
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control. You can permanently delete everything at any time:
- Uninstall the extension or app - this removes all stored data automatically
- Clear the app's storage in your browser/system settings to reset everything
Once deleted, your data is gone permanently. There's no backup on our servers (because there are no servers storing your data), and no way to recover it. This is intentional - when you delete your data, it's truly deleted.
